GreatHorn Takes Home “Overall Enterprise Email Security Solution of the Year” from CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards

We’re excited to announce that GreatHorn was awarded CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards’ “Overall Enterprise Email Security Solution of the Year” today!

With over 3,000 nominations from all over the world, the competition for the CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards was fierce. We’re glad to be honored among an impressive list of cybersecurity innovators that are trying to make the digital world a safer place for businesses.

GreatHorn’s unique approach to email security was cited by the organization’s judges. Our flagship solution protects businesses from both widespread, traditional threats and sophisticated, targeted attacks. By combining threat detection, automated remediation, and post-delivery incident response, GreatHorn ensures you have comprehensive protection, adapted for your environment.

The shortcomings of today’s email security options are all too familiar: Impersonations and credential theft are on the rise; internal email is unprotected; remediation relies on PowerShell scripts and manual labor. GreatHorn represents a simpler, effective method of improving threat detection and automating threat defense so malicious communications can be removed from user inboxes at all times – even post-delivery.

We are honored and humbled by this CyberSecurity Breakthrough award and look forward to continuing to develop email security solutions that give businesses confidence to communicate.

GreatHorn Wins “Cutting Edge” Award from Cyber Defense Magazine

GreatHorn Wins “Cutting Edge” Award from Cyber Defense Magazine

InfoSec 2018 Award logoWe’re honored to be recognized as the only “Cutting Edge” vendor in Email Security Management

Last week’s RSA conference was whirlwind for us: from our exciting partnership with Rhino Security Labs to engaging conversations at our booth to the rising interest we’re seeing for a continuous solution to email security. We admit we’re still catching our breaths!

In the midst of the excitement, we were particularly honored that Cyber Defense Magazine awarded us the “Cutting Edge” Award in the Email Security Management category. The editors evaluated nearly 3,000 companies around the world that offer security products and services – from small start-ups to household security names – so the competition was fierce, and we’re thrilled to have been named one of the winners.

You can expect us to continue to be on this cutting edge in the coming weeks, months, and years. As organizations increasingly turn to Office 365 and G Suite for their email infrastructure, there’s a growing recognition that perimeter-focused email security solutions simply can’t keep up with the changing dynamic.

We’re committed to providing continuous email protection against not just the payload-based threats that dominated the past, but also the sophisticated phishing threats that compromise access to data, credentials, and financial resources.

Stay tuned. We’re just getting started.

FinovateFall Demo Days Begin Today!

FinovateFall Demo Days Begin Today!

Today is the first day of Finovate Fall 2017’s two demo days, and the GreatHorn team is eagerly preparing to present our Inbound Email Security platform to business and technology leaders from financial institutions worldwide who have come together to learn about cutting-edge technologies. Recent research shows that financial institutions were attacked 65% more frequently than any other industry in 2016; no surprise, given the nature of the data they work with on a daily basis.

The ever-increasing volume of targeted email attacks, coupled with an alarming success rate, emphasizes the financial industry’s need for a new approach to email security. During our demo, we’ll walk through a real impersonation attack live onstage to showcase the IES platform’s ability to automatically detect and remediate what Gartner callsthe most pernicious threat challenging modern connected organizations:” targeted phishing.

GreatHorn will be presenting on Tuesday, Sept. 12, during demo session #6 (10:45AM – 12:05PM). Come check it out, and swing by our table in the networking area! Tweet us @GreatHorn or send an email to [email protected] if you’re interested in lining up some time to speak with one of our reps.

Gartner Names GreatHorn a Cool Vendor in Cloud Security

Gartner Names GreatHorn a Cool Vendor in Cloud Security

We are thrilled to announce that GreatHorn has been listed as one of Gartner’s cybersecurity “Cool Vendors”!

In the note Cool Vendors in Cloud Security 2017, analyst Steve Riley writes:

“The most pernicious threat challenging modern connected organizations: targeted phishing.”

GreatHorn solves this problem by providing comprehensive communication security, focused on targeted social engineering and phishing.

We map the social graphs of our clients communications across both email and other cloud-based systems, and use our technology to find anomalous patterns and messages that bear no payloads, files, or links, but rather, rely on social engineering techniques to compromise access to data, credentials, and financial resources.

Cybercriminals’ shift in tactics towards low-volume, highly targeted attacks requires enterprises to look beyond traditional solutions in order to protect themselves, their employees, and their customers from an ever-more-sophisticated set of techniques. Traditional anti-spam, anti-malware, and static analysis tools simply cannot keep up with today’s threats — especially when we see global attacks reaching millions of users in minutes.

GreatHorn combines deep learning and automation to drive down the time to both detection and response, and represents a truly next-generation communication security platform, safeguarding cloud email platforms from phishing, business email compromise, spear phishing, ransomware, and even OAuth-based threats more quickly and accurately than any legacy platform.
